On the reverse label attached to the support "41357 / Duke of Alva" Old ink inscription with numbering "F[...]derico Alvarez de Tol[...]/ D[...]e de Huesca Commander/Mayor of Calatra[...]/4[...] This is the same model reproduced in Famiano Estrada's work "Wars of Flanders", published in 1748 in the city of Antwerp by the printing press of Frames Miguel Bousquet, volume I. , p. 711. acquired by the current owner at Bonhams "Europeanpaintings" January 17, 1980, London, lot 192 Measurements: 12.5 x 10 cm.
