Charcoal and clarion pencil on brown paper, very fine, matte, tan beige color “J Sorolla”, signature apocryphal in the lower right corner Provenance: -Sorolla's will, series R, no. 41 (folder of several drawings), inventory of 1929, awarded to his daughter Elena Sorolla Garcia -Private collection, Madrid The drawings of oxen pulling out the boat, on the return from fishing, are numerous during much of Sorolla's artistic production, and specifically this one due to the support and its outline we place between 1899 and 1903.
