FLEUR-DE-LIS BROOCH, 19TH CENTURY, IN GOLD AND SILVER WITH

French-made fleur-de-lis brooch from the second half of the 19th century. Made of silver and gold with old-cut diamonds, with a total weight of approximately 4.00 ct. and oval and round-cut sapphires; it features an eagle's head as a hallmark of France. The jewel - of possible royal or courtly origin - is presented in a period case in burgundy-coloured silk and velvet with the royal monogram of Isabel II of Spain (1830-1904).
