Louis XVI style display cabinet, France, c.1900

Veneered in various woods with gilt bronze applications and silver-plated tondo with a mythological scene in relief. It stands out for the quality of its workmanship, especially noteworthy in the chiseling of the bronzes. It can be related to a sideboard from the Vedder manufacture (Paris, c. 1880) auctioned at Christies London, lot 624, November 2018. Three shelves inside. Measurements: 198 x 77 x 40 cm
