Oil on panel Signed in the lower right corner In 1905, when Regoyos was living in San Sebastián at 8 Trueba Street, he made another artistic excursion through Castile, where he carried out this work that was sent to Paris to be exhibited. As can be seen on the back of the support panel, he titled it with a brush and in red paint: "Reflets, Ville en Castille". Regoyos used to title his works that were exhibited outside of Spain in French on the back, so that the gallery owner or the organiser of the exhibition in which it was exhibited would know what work it was. It was sold in Paris and that is where it has remained until now. This oil painting corresponds to his mature impressionist period, in which the reflections of the sky on the river water motivate its title and Regoyos, our great painter, captures the landscape with the town in the background, the river with its boat and the road with the pedestrians, full of successes in perspective, light and colour.
