ITALIAN SCHOOL (17th century) "Portrait of Geri della Rena"

Oil on canvas. The painting is inspired by the model created by the Florentine painter Cristofano Allori (1577-1621). The sitter is a member of a family belonging to the Italian aristocracy settled in the city of Florence, who held important positions in the Church and the government of the City between the 14th and 16th centuries. On the frame it presents a handwritten ink inscription with an ancient attribution to the painter Antonio Balestra. Measurements: 55 x 40 cm.
