A disciple of Simon Gomez, he moved to Paris at the age of fourteen, establishing his residence there and attLateing the Cabanel Academy as a disciple. He obtained different drawing and painting awards and specialized mainly in history painting. A good part of his production is preserved in France but some of his works were presented in the Sala Pares in Barcelona, ​​as is the case of this monumental Zenobia, Salome or Herodias; following the fashionable theme at the time that liked to show these characters from the Bible and classical sources as a femme fatale, full of beauty and sensuality. The Perpignan Museum preserves two of his works among its collections: The Love of the Night and The Two Stars. Measurements: 200 x 130 cm.
