Titled in the lower right corner In 1931 Jose Caballero arrived in Madrid to study engineering, at which time he began to frequent the workshop of Vazquez Diaz. This work documents the advanced stage of Caballero's plastic art, which he had consolidated in Huelva and some years before his contact in Madrid with the members of the '27 and the surrealist movement. We would like to thank the Caballero - Thomas de Carranza Foundation for their help in cataloguing this work. Measurements: 33 x 24 cm
