Louis XVI style dressing table, GuEret Freres, Paris, secon

Made of mahogany, gilded bronze and veined marble (with restored corner). Mirrored top with railings on the side shelves and finished with a cartouche flanked by horns of plenty. Fouls. Stamped. Denis-DEsirE and OnEsime GuEret were the founders of "GuEret Frères", a furniture and frame workshop that was active during the second half of the 19th century. The quality of its pieces was awarded with several medals in various exhibitions and valued by its clients, among whom was NapoLeon III. Measurements: 219 x 140 x 55.5 cm
