Copy 1/3 This work belongs to the series of 6 photographs that were presented in the exhibition “Things in a Room” at the Marlborough Gallery in New York in 2015. The six photographic compositions of the interior of the artist's studio develop the theme of Franquelo's paintings from the 80s. They are the result of the application of photography and are the only one that addresses the nature of things. During those years the author was involved in the design, programming and production of the Lucida 3D scanner for use in high-resolution digitalization of the surface of relief objects and paintings. During this research, his curiosity led him to photogrammetry and the application of photographic compositions. Considering that their purpose was to extract 3D information from black and white video images digitized with Lucida, these works are made using a method of aligning the different focal planes that compresses the illusion of depth into a horizontal plane. They are printed in pigments in multiple layers on gesso. A certificate of authenticity from the Marlborough Gallery, Madrid, dated 03/24/2025, is included. Measurements: 80 x 180 cm
