FOLLOWER OF GUIDO RENI (17th century) "The Virgin adoring the sleeping Child Jesus"

Oil on canvas. This excellently crafted work follows the original composition by the Bolognese painter Guido Reni (1575-1642), preserved in the Doria Pamphilj Gallery in Rome. In Spain, some versions with variants of the same theme are preserved, such as the one found in the sacristy of the Cathedral of Granada, which was considered the work of the painter Alonso Cano. Measurements: 50 x 70 cm.
